Warranty Deeds Our state-specific general warranty deeds, or "warranty deeds" can be used by any individual or married couple to deed your property to another. By using a warranty deed to convey the property and transfer ownership, you are telling the buyer that you have good title to the property, and that you can lawfully transfer the property to the buyer.
